CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

The CrossRoad: In May we learned about Joseph, and discovered that "God is Good" even when things seem bad. Come join us in June, and discover the active learning fun! Our rotational model Sunday School workshops begin at 10:45 a.m. Looking forward to seeing you at "The CrossRoad." (You will find more more information about the CrossRoad below.)

UPCOMING DATES: Check back soon!

K-6th Grade Sunday School                                                           Meet us at the CrossRoad. A fun, rotational model Sunday school where kids can explore the bible and living for God through five engaging stations. Children rotate through art, cooking & science, storytelling, video and computers. Join us in the "Stories by the Seaside" located on the second floor of the education building for gathering time at 10:45 am, following worship.

Preschool Sunday School                                                              Join the fun w/ Ms. Stella and enjoy learning about God through  crafts, games, and story time. Preschoolers meet downstairs in room # 4 in the education building.

Nursery 411                                                                                     During worship your family now has three child care options: the newly refurbished Noah’s Ark Nursery, the cry room, or as always your children are always welcome in the FUMC sanctuary.
We hope the addition of the Noah’s Ark Nursery will be helpful to you and your infants through preschoolers. The Noah’s Ark Nursery is staffed by Nursery Helpers (moms and other nurturing congregation members that understand how important the care of your children really is.) Robin Carraway, Trey and Leslie’s mom, is serving as the Sunday morning nursery coordinator. If you would like to serve in this role, please let Robin know.

NEW! Sunday Morning Nursery Schedule:
9:15 a.m. until the end of service:
You may drop your child off at the Noah’s Ark nursery on the lower level of the sanctuary building. Please pick up your child following worship and escort them to the fellowship hall for Donut time!
10:35 a.m. until the end of Sunday School: Our Sunday school hour nursery, located in room #3 on the lower level of the education building, will be open for your convenience. Enjoy some adult time, getting in the Word, while your children are playing, singing, drawing, learning, and growing!

"THE TIME"                                                                                  The time will resume this fall. Please stay tuned for fun summer outings throughout July. Our newest ministry to children begins with a snack supper together at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings. Followed by a "time" filled with multi-sensory learning including games, object lessons, activities, multi-media, and lots of fun that engages our preschoolers through sixth grade students. After snack supper we have a gathering time that grounds the lesson for the night. We then split up into three small groups. One for pre-school-kindergarten, 1st-3rd, and 4th-6th. In our small group time the night's overall theme is reinforced through age appropriate interactive games, crafts, activities, creative prayer time, movie clips, and more. Join us Sunday nights from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm as we find out "what time is It?"
